Last month I had the pleasure of attending the BET Honors to present my former track coach from The University of Texas, Beverley Kearney, with the Award for Excellence in Education. I felt beautiful in my couture Kevan Hall gown, and had an amazing time seeing living legends such as Maya Angelou, Spike Lee and two of the original Tuskegee airmen recognized for their astonishing achievements. Very inspiring!
